Intense Intervention Special Education Teacher (SPED) | Bedford, Indiana:

Qualifications:
-Active Indiana teaching license with an Intense Intervention Special Education endorsement required
-Previous experience working with students receiving intensive special education services preferred
-Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs), accommodations, and specialized instructional strategies
-Ability to develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs
-Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
-Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach
-Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, related-service providers, and school administrators
Schedule:
-Full-time position
-School-year schedule
-Approximately 8 students on caseload
Responsibilities:
-Provide specialized instruction to students receiving -Intense Intervention Special Education services
-Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans (IEPs)
-Adapt curriculum, instruction, and assessments to meet individual student needs
-Track student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation
-Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, administrators, and families
-Implement appropriate classroom management and behavioral support strategies
-Promote student independence, academic development, communication, and social-emotional growth
-Participate in IEP meetings and other student-support team meetings
-Maintain a safe, structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
