Two openings are available for dedicated Special Education professionals passionate about fostering growth and achievement for every learner. This assignment spans from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, at a single school building, offering the rewarding opportunity to build strong, consistent relationships throughout the academic year.
You’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week) in one of the following settings, depending on your expertise:
- Classroom focusing on students with multiple disabilities, including autism (mostly non-verbal, physical impairments), typically serving 9–12 students.
- Emotional disabilities (ED) classroom, which includes behavior intervention plans (BIPs), social-emotional instruction, and crisis intervention, with a caseload of 10–15 students.
What we seek:
- Valid Special Education licensure is required.
- Classroom experience with students who have multiple disabilities, emotional disabilities, autism, or physical impairments preferred.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, functional behavior assessments, and IEP implementation.
- Skilled in collaborating with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support student needs.
- Effective crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques a plus.
- Committed, flexible, and adaptive in a fast-paced educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering individualized instruction to meet IEP goals.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with special education regulations.
- Implementing communication supports and behavior management plans effectively.
