- Current Oregon licensure as a Special Education Teacher
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in either resource or self-contained settings
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Proven work ethic, a growth-oriented mindset, and a genuinely positive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and adapt curriculum materials for students with diverse learning needs
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring in line with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth within a safe, nurturing space
