Required Qualifications:
- Valid and current South Carolina Teaching License
- Certification in both Special Education and Early Childhood Education
- Multi-Categorical (Multi-Cat) endorsement
- Experience working within self-contained and/or resource settings preferred
- Adaptable communication skills and a commitment to individualized instruction
- Ability to facilitate inclusive and supportive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students in self-contained settings for grades K-2 and elementary severe (3-5)
- Provide SPED resource support for EC students K-5
- Support students with mild intellectual disabilities at the high school level
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education and support staff to promote student development
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture that values each learner’s growth
