- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting

- Ability to thrive in a co-teaching team environment
- Skilled at adapting curriculum and utilizing interventions tailored to student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both general education teachers and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction within a co-teaching setting, partnering closely with general education teachers
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students on your caseload
- Provide direct and indirect supports, accommodations, and modifications to ensure academic success
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture centered on respect and high expectations
- Track and assess student progress, communicating regularly with families and the education team
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staff meetings, and special education compliance activities
