Special Education Teacher | Boston, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting K-12 learners
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide differentiated instruction to students across grade levels and abilities
- Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to design effective learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, challenged, and encouraged
