Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current Massachusetts special education teaching certification required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred
- Proven ability to provide effective modifications, accommodations, and instructional support
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Dedication to creating a safe, engaging, and accessible classroom for diverse learners
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Full-time contract: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serve elementary students in a supportive, inclusive environment
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and lessons to accommodate unique learning needs
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Work closely with families, colleagues, and specialists
- Foster positive, productive relationships in the classroom
- Manage caseload and documentation in adherence with school and state guidelines
