- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and service providers
- Passion for individualized teaching and creative instructional strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver individualized lessons based on each student’s needs and learning styles
- Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Utilize accommodations and modifications to ensure student engagement and measurable growth
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress and required documentation
- Engage in regular collaboration with general education teachers, related service professionals, and families
- Support students not only academically but also with social, behavioral, and emotional development
