Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience or strong interest in Life Skills, Autistic Support, or Learning Support
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support a variety of learning styles and needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, parents, and specialists
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive classroom environments
- Flexibility to support students in multiple locations (as needed for split Learning Support role)
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Deliver engaging instruction in academic, behavioral, and social goals
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and related service providers
- Communicate regularly with families to update on progress and share strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and compliance
