Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Valid certification to teach Special Education in Texas (or ability to obtain).
- Experience managing caseloads in life skills classrooms strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt between elementary and secondary environments if needed.
- Ability to collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored instruction to students in K–2 or high school (life skills focus).
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward IEP goals.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
