Special Education Teacher - Brighton, CO

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and active CDE license, or currently in the process of obtaining (required; interviews only with proof)
- Minimum of one year of classroom experience in Special Education
- Proven flexibility and ability to collaborate within a team setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering resource instruction and support for middle school students on your assigned caseload
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintaining detailed records and progress monitoring per regulatory guidelines
- Creating accommodations and modifications as needed for student success
- Participating in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development
