This full-time, onsite contract position is set in a vibrant school environment, where you’ll work with a resource caseload at the elementary level and contribute to student success throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to facilitate communication and instruction for a diverse student population
- At least one year of classroom teaching experience in special education
- Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented approach to collaboration
- Valid (or in-progress) Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license; the district cannot accept TEE. A copy of your CDE license or a current COOL transcript must be submitted with your application.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing direct special education support to students within a resource setting
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Using effective strategies and accommodations to differentiate instruction and ensure student growth
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and federal requirements
- Creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom culture that celebrates each student’s unique strengths and abilities
