Special Education Teacher in Broomfield, CO

Key Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate flexibility and a strong ability to collaborate with diverse educational teams.
- A minimum of one year of hands-on classroom teaching experience in special education is required.
- Possession of an active CDE license, or current progress toward licensure, is essential. Candidates must submit a copy of their active CDE license or COOL for consideration.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans and instructional activities for special education students.
- Collaborate closely with paraeducators and specialists (BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, Psych/SW) to design effective interventions and behavioral supports.
- Engage with peer mentors to foster a supportive classroom culture.
- Track and report on students’ progress, adapting strategies as needed to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation in line with school and state requirements.
