Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Director license or Administrator certification
- Master’s degree required
- Extensive knowledge of Minnesota Special Education compliance regulations
- Proven ability to coordinate with consultant companies and administrative teams
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage substantial paperwork
- Strong communication skills to effectively consult with teachers and staff
- Experience in training or willingness to guide others in compliance areas
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all special education compliance efforts across the district
- Manage state reporting and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as a liaison between teachers, administration, and consultants to foster streamlined communication
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members regarding compliance, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with administration and teach staff to ensure high-quality support for students
- Handle ongoing coordination with external consultant professionals
