Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota teaching credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Tier 3 or Tier 4)
- Prior classroom experience working with resource, RISE, or comparable special programs
- Familiarity supporting diverse learners at all age levels, including middle school
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with colleagues, support staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to be fully on-site (remote options are not available for these positions)
Role Responsibilities:
- Guide individualized instruction and support for students with unique learning needs
- Develop and implement effective IEPs in consultation with multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to foster both academic and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records, progress data, and required documentation per district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in school events, professional development, and team meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
