What You'll Bring:
- Active Minnesota teaching license required
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, with knowledge in developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to adapt curricular approaches to meet individual student needs

- Commitment to maintaining a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom
- Familiarity with therapeutic or alternative education settings (preferred but not required)
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student’s abilities and learning goals
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including social workers, therapists, and administrators—to ensure consistent support
- Provide behavioral interventions and crisis management as needed
- Thoroughly document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Engage guardians and caregivers in students’ academic journeys through regular updates and proactive communication
