Special Education Teacher in Catawba, SC

Scheduling varies from early morning to mid-afternoon across elementary, middle, high school, and PreK levels, ensuring dynamic and varied daily work.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License required
- Multi-categorical or equivalent certification(s) needed
- Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education for PreK roles
- Experience teaching within moderate needs, multi-categorical, or co-taught classroom settings preferred
- Flexible to teach in both resource and self-contained environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students in special education settings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and student support teams
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners' needs
- Track and report on student progress, adjusting methods as necessary
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators
