What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials/license for South Carolina (or eligibility)
- Experience or passion for working with elementary/middle school learners with diverse needs
- Flexibility to manage and adapt to a growing caseload (currently 24 students)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with coordinators and paraeducators
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction, support IEP development, and maintain compliance
- Foster a positive learning environment as the school’s only Special Education Teacher
- Partner with the sped coordinator and para to provide exceptional care and progress monitoring
- Engage in school community activities and foster strong relationships with families
