Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher licensure applicable to middle school level
- Experience or a keen interest in working with Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) caseloads
- Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support for middle school students with EBD
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
- Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and other team members regarding student progress
- Employ proactive strategies and interventions to address behavioral and academic needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
