Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state teaching license with Special Education certification
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students (grades K–5)
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for differentiated instruction and meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and adapt curriculum for students with unique learning requirements
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and support staff
- Work closely with general education teachers to modify instruction and classroom activities
- Track student progress, collect data, and report on educational outcomes
- Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and special events as required
