Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Massachusetts Special Education teaching license is required
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school (K-12) settings
- Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet unique learning needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for creating positive, inclusive environments where all students can thrive
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction aligned with student IEPs and district curriculum
- Implement accommodations and modifications to support diverse learners
- Progress monitor student goals and document outcomes
- Collaborate with families, instructional teams, and related service providers
- Support a variety of classroom types, which may include resource, self-contained, or inclusion environments
- Foster a safe, nurturing classroom climate
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
