Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Special Education required

- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Provide accommodations and support for student success within the general education setting
- Utilize both push-in and pull-out instructional models to meet individual needs
- Foster academic skill-building, executive functioning, and independent learning
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to implement strategies and monitor growth
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, adjustments, and student progress
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences as needed
This role is part-time, requiring your expertise two days a week at an elementary school. You’ll be pivotal in ensuring students have equitable access to the curriculum and the tools they need to reach their educational goals.
