Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid LBSI certification in Special Education (Illinois credentials preferred)
- Experience with middle school students, resource classroom supports, and collaborative co-teaching models
- Confident working independently and adapting to new environments
- Strong background in instructional planning and individualized support
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Deliver co-taught and resource instruction to 8th-grade students split between two schools (class sizes of approximately 8-10)
- Develop and implement individual learning plans
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff
- Commit to a staff contract schedule: 7:20-2:50 (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 7:20-3:05 (Wed)
- Participate in initial orientation activities if hired ahead of start date
