Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required
- Experience teaching middle school-aged students, particularly in a self-contained setting, is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to develop and modify math curriculum for diverse learners with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive, supportive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver math instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student in the self-contained classroom
- Create and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and update goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

- Utilize data-driven practices to assess student growth and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
