Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Illinois
- Experience with inclusion and resource classes preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 10-15 students
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Positive, flexible, and collaborative approach
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Teach 3 inclusion classes and 2 resource classes daily
- Utilize 2 dedicated prep periods for lesson planning and collaboration
- Support students’ individual educational needs and tailor instruction accordingly
- Maintain effective communication with families and educational team
- Comply with all relevant federal, state, and school policies, with guidance from an on-site Case Manager
