Position Overview:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:40 a.m.–2:40 p.m.
- Start date: ASAP; ends October 31, 2026.
- Alternative schedules may be considered based on your needs.
- On-site role: remote/hybrid arrangements are not available.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning profile.
- Collaborate with a robust team of special education professionals for instructional planning and support.
- Maintain documentation and communication regarding student progress and interventions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence.
- Partner closely with paraeducators and utilize extensive instructional resources.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- State certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly with early elementary students.
- Passion for inclusive education and ability to adapt teaching strategies.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
