Special Education Teacher in Circle Pines, MN

Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certificate is required
- Experience working with students served by special education, across diverse grade levels (Early Childhood–High School)
- Ability to follow established lesson plans and adapt to different curriculum and classroom expectations
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexibility and professionalism in rapidly changing environments
- Prompt responsiveness to district's call-in needs and availability for both scheduled and day-of assignments
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom climate
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional and support services to students with special needs as outlined
- Follow teacher plans or collaborate with school staff to support continuity of instruction
- Maintain accurate student records and document progress as required
- Uphold district and state compliance standards
- Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families as appropriate
This is a contract, as-needed position paid only for hours worked when called in by the district to cover. You’ll gain experience working across multiple classrooms and age groups, expanding your professional network.
