This contract, full-time opportunity invites you to work with either Moderate/Moderate or Extensive Support Needs caseloads in a welcoming educational environment near Lower Lake, CA. You’ll play a crucial role, designing and implementing individualized learning plans that foster both academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid CTC Certification is required
- Background in Special Education at the school level
- Experience serving students with Moderate/Moderate or Extensive Support Needs is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and stakeholders
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom community
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Foster a positive, structured, and accommodating classroom environment
This position offers payment at a rate of $40–$45 per hour and includes enticing Spindle Benefits.
