You’ll work on a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm, providing valuable instruction and support to school-aged learners. Your dedication will help shape their educational journey and ensure they receive the individualized attention they deserve.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
- Ability to create and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Flexible, compassionate, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to students with varying learning needs
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to families and educational teams
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
