Make a significant impact by guiding and supporting students with diverse learning needs as an Intervention Specialist. Immediate openings are available for dedicated professionals ready to start and continue through June 2027. You’ll play a key role in fostering academic success for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 10th Grade Math students in an in-person elementary and secondary school environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with a variety of disabilities and age groups
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver specialized instruction in both individual and group settings
- Prepare and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Track and document student progress, modifying interventions based on data
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Engage in IEP meetings and ensure documentation compliance
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with special education requirements
You will have the opportunity to work full-time, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours each week. This long-term contract allows you to build meaningful relationships and see student growth over time. Your expertise and dedication will influence students’ learning journeys and help create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
