Special Education Teacher in Clifton, NJ

You'll play a vital role delivering ELA and Math Out of Class Resource (OCR) services and providing push-in support for ELA and Math instruction, specifically to 1st and 2nd graders. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid DOE Certification (required)
- Proven experience teaching ELA and Math at the elementary level
- Skilled in effective classroom management and evidence-based instructional practices
- Experience with Out of Class Resource or push-in support models strongly preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs considered an asset
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted ELA and Math instruction and intervention to students in push-in and resource settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student growth and progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports skill development and student confidence
