Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan teaching license in Special Education is required

- Skillful in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year
Responsibilities:
- Deliver dedicated, tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Work closely with other educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Use positive behavioral support strategies for classroom management
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress
- Document and track individual student goals and academic achievements
