Special Education Teacher - Fountain, Colorado

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 exceptional learners (preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach to teaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver instruction in both small group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations
- Partner with classroom teachers and support personnel to modify curriculum and instructional methods
- Create supportive, structured learning environments that inspire growth and engagement
