Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher Licensure for Colorado (or commitment to obtain state licensure)
- Previous experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families
- Adaptability, organizational ability, and a positive, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Engage in regular progress monitoring and data collection, making instructional adjustments as needed
- Effectively communicate with parents and guardians, providing updates and resources to maximize student growth
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations and district policies
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and IEP meetings as required
