You'll work with a small caseload of middle school students (ages 11-14), providing critical behavior support and serving as a dedicated case manager—all at a single school site.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Teacher Certification in Multicategorical/Emotional Disabilities (ED) required
- Experience or strong interest in serving students with behavioral and diverse learning needs
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Effective communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom community
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 5-10 students, supporting academic and behavioral growth
- Implement individualized behavior and learning strategies tailored to each student
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
- Facilitate IEP meetings, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student success and engagement
Role Details:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Contract runs through May 2027 (or with notice of end of contract)
- Serve at just one school—Muller Road Middle School
