Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement for the state of Ohio
- Prior experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work with high school or middle school populations
- Math intervention background considered a plus
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to student IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
