Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate License or Alternative Intervention Specialist License
- Experience working with middle school students (ages 12–14) preferred
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction according to students’ IEPs
- Co-plan and serve alongside grades 7/8 Math and English teachers
- Write, attend, and lead IEP meetings for students on your caseload (16 students, 1 school site)
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, communications, and progress monitoring
- Ensure compliance with all deadlines and requirements
- Support additional teacher duties as assigned
