Desired Qualifications:
- Active California Education Specialist Credential in Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Moderate/Severe required
- Previous experience working with K-8 special education students in an ESN or Mod/Severe setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to cultivate a supportive and structured learning environment
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to advocacy and inclusion for students with diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction tailored for students with moderate to severe needs
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals in collaboration with staff and families
- Adapt curriculum and provide modifications or accommodations as needed
- Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and other education professionals
- Create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages growth, confidence, and independence
