We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students with hearing loss from ages 3–22. This part-time opportunity offers a flexible three-day work week and the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized instruction, evaluations, and collaborative support throughout the school year.

Position Responsibilities
Provide direct, individualized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine educational needs.
Develop recommendations and contribute to individualized programming for students.
Participate as an active member of IEP and Section 504 teams.
Provide consultative services to educators, staff, and families to support students with hearing loss.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate educational services and accommodations.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education requirements.
Qualifications
Valid teaching license with Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement (or eligibility for licensure).
Experience providing services to students with hearing loss is preferred.
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, IEP development, and best practices in deaf education.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with school teams and families.
