- Licensed or credentialed in Oregon as a Special Education Teacher
- Background working with K-12 students in self-contained or resource classrooms

- Strong interpersonal skills to foster communication among students, families, and school staff
- Committed to inclusive teaching methods and differentiated instruction
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and strong ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Develop and tailor individualized education plans (IEPs) according to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to implement accommodations
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate fully in multidisciplinary meetings, ongoing professional development, and school initiatives
- Provide a supportive, structured environment that encourages student growth and confidence
