- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with students, staff, and families
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and support to students with diverse educational needs across early elementary, middle, and high school classrooms
- Manage a caseload of PK-12 students, providing tailored lesson plans that promote academic and personal growth
- Assess student progress, track data, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators to support inclusion and student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations
- Engage and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
