Special Education Teacher - Dearborn, Michigan

Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher Certification for Michigan, including a Special Education endorsement
- Experience supporting students with mild to moderate needs (preferred)
- Dedicated to fostering an inclusive classroom and promoting student success
- Strong communication skills for collaborative work with teachers, administrators, and families
- Passion for adapting instruction to meet student learning styles and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective IEPs in alignment with each student’s needs and goals
- Lead small group and one-on-one instruction within a classroom setting
- Track student progress, maintaining thorough records and completing necessary documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to promote inclusion and positive outcomes
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress and address concerns
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed
