Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) Certification with SPED endorsement

- Ability to manage caseloads while adapting teaching strategies to individual students
- Commitment to maintaining a safe classroom and promoting an inclusive atmosphere
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute IEPs based on student assessments and team input
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students in a resource room or general classroom setting
- Track and report student progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, providing regular updates and guidance
- Encourage and support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
The position is onsite only, with assignment during the 2026/2027 school year. Pay begins at $80 per hour, offering rewarding compensation for your skills and dedication.
