Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher Licensure for Colorado, or willingness to obtain Colorado licensure prior to start
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborative approach with educators, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction for students with varying exceptionalities
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and learning outcomes
