Required Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement (two positions available)
- Experience or strong interest in working with students ranging from kindergarten through age 22
- Ability to be flexible regarding classroom or caseload placement
- Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment
- Proven skills in adapting curricula and instructional methods
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support diverse learning needs
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for best outcomes
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Promote positive student behavior and engagement through strong relationship-building
- Participate in school meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development
