- Elementary Therapeutic Day School (significant social/emotional needs)
- High School Therapeutic Day School (significant social/emotional needs)
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement for K–22; candidates in process of licensure or with out-of-state credentials may also be considered
- Experience with special education across K–5, 9–12, or K–12 populations
- Passion for working with students who have autism and/or substantial social-emotional needs
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt instruction to individual learning levels
- Willingness to collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to develop individualized support plans
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Creating and maintaining a supportive, structured classroom for students with diverse learning needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Differentiating instruction to meet individualized student goals
- Progress monitoring and timely documentation
- Participating in professional development as needed
