Working with high school students in grades 9–12—approximately 17–20 students—you’ll enhance your skills through exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership styles. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification, with appropriate credentials for secondary (grades 9–12)
- Previous experience working with high school students and a caseload of 17–20 preferred
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Collaborative, flexible, and adaptive mindset
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Create inclusive, supportive classroom environments for diverse learners
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
- Track and report student progress toward educational goals
