Job Responsibilities
- Provide special education support within an inclusive elementary classroom setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning and accommodations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and educational teams
Qualifications
- Active Texas Special Education Teaching License required
- Experience supporting students in an inclusion setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
