Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview consideration)
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field

- Strong knowledge of IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, parents, and specialists

Responsibilities:

- Adapt general education lessons for students’ strengths and needs

- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to achieve student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and professional development
