What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with early childhood and PreK students preferred
- Strong understanding of implementing IEPs and behavior strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple school sites
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with families, related service providers, and classroom staff
- Monitor and track student progress; update educational plans as needed
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and support holistic child development
- Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals in the classroom
- Maintain detailed records and case notes in compliance with district and legal requirements
